The Hair Room is a salon of self-employed stylists in Clarendon Park, known across Leicester for bold, blended colour — vivid purple and hot pink through to lived-in blonde. Every stylist runs their own chair and keeps their own clients, so the person who colours your hair this time is the one who’ll know it next.

You’ll know us by the blooms around the door. Inside: gilded mirrors, a little blossom and a pink “Gorgeous” neon — a salon that looks as bold as the colour coming off the chairs.
Because every chair is rented by a self-employed stylist, the salon runs on relationships. People come back for their stylist year after year — first haircuts for the little ones, standing blonde appointments, and the big colour changes when someone fancies a reset.

Our thing
Colour is the whole point
Most of what leaves these chairs is colour — balayage, highlights, full colour, toners and gloss, blended so the grow-out stays soft. It’s the work the reviews rave about and the photos we’re proudest of.
